By accessing or using Digital Shields ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
The Service is intended for parents, guardians, and carers aged 18 and over who are resident in the United Kingdom. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain inaccurate information, or are used in a manner that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the Service.
The Explorer plan provides limited access to educational resources, read-only community forum access, and threat alert digests at no cost. No payment details are required for the free plan.
We offer the following paid subscription plans:
All paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content supplied through the Service must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, and as described. If our digital content does not meet these standards, you have the right to a remedy as set out in Section 5 (Your Consumer Rights) below.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your subscription purchase. During the free trial, you can cancel at any time without charge. After the trial, if you cancel within 14 days of your first charge, you may request a full refund.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Settings page in your account. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free Explorer plan.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge if you are not satisfied with the Service. After the initial 14-day period, pro-rata refunds may be issued at our discretion. To request a refund, contact support@digitalshields.co.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price applies.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content that violates these guidelines, and to suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly breach them, without prior notice.
You may edit or delete your own posts at any time. Deleted posts are removed from public view, though copies may be retained in our systems for a limited period for moderation and legal compliance purposes.
Shield AI provides general educational guidance about online safety. It is designed to help parents understand digital risks and take practical steps to protect their children. However, Shield AI is not a substitute for professional safeguarding advice from law enforcement, social services, medical professionals, or qualified safeguarding practitioners.

We do not warrant that Shield AI guidance will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your specific circumstances. You should always exercise your own judgement and seek professional advice where appropriate.
All content on Digital Shields, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, educational materials, device setup guides, conversation scripts, and the underlying code, is owned by Infinity X Investments Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of England and Wales and international treaties.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Service without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use as intended by the Service.
You retain ownership of any content you post in the community forum or elsewhere on the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Infinity X Investments Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content on the platform for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms, the Community Forum Guidelines, or any applicable law, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content but reserve the right to do so.
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By using the Service, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

Your continued use of the Service after such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe that your continued access poses a risk to other users, the Service, or our business.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally, you may escalate your complaint through our formal complaints procedure by writing to us at the contact details provided in these Terms.
If we cannot reach a resolution through our internal process, you may be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. We will provide details of any applicable ADR provider at the relevant time.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, while preserving its original intent as far as possible.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Infinity X Investments Ltd in relation to your use of the Service. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
However, nothing in these Terms limits your right to take legal action in the courts of Northern Ireland or Scotland if you are a resident of those jurisdictions, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
